Great interpreters! They readily shared information. Ethel, at the general store, was so patient with our 5 year old and made the information easy for her to understand. We enjoyed our experience and had a great time.

It's like walking back in the nineteenth century. Would definitely recommend checking this place out. The Singer boat shop and house, court room, general store are very well maintained. They have done a great job preserving the history!

A great experience. We were able to tour historic buildings. All buildings were handicapped accessible. They were filled with authentic pieces of history. There is a path to go down to reach the “town”, but they did have golf carts available if one needed assistance to go down. The volunteers were very informative, and very friendly. They were well studied on the history of the homes and the area. Highly recommend.

Great historical site. Make sure you look it up and find out if they are having an event. The wood worker, the Potter, and one person telling the information on 2 of the buildings were there this weekend. They were excellent and had a GREAT amount of information on the area. All of the buildings have not arrived, but it is worth stopping.

Westville in Lumpkin, Georgia is now closed. It is in the process of moving to a new location outside Columbus, Georgia and Fort Benning.
