I Would like to know if a person looks a lot older then 55 why then should the clerk ask for I D for a discount? a lot of information is given up on I D .I do love the store , but not that practice.

Most likely because people can look a lot older than they truly are. If they don't card everyone, then that opens up to a discrimination allegation.

Personally, at being a 70 year young lady, I find myself a bit flattered and then laughing at myself whenever I'm asked for proof of my age!! OH, AGING AIN'T IT GREAT!! LOL
