I haven't seen "European loaf" in their bakery, but Monday thru Wednesday is buy-one-retail price-get-one for $1. Occasionally they'll do store specials $1 per loaf.
Are you asking about the brioche style bread? If so, your best bet is to buy it on Monday or Tuesday. HyVee has been running a special on that particular bread styles (flavors) Mon-Wed, BOGO either free or 1/2 off. Usually by Wed evening they are running very low on stock. I do not know if they bake again during the week. I have actually bought different flavors on Monday mid-morning and the bread was still warm. Also, if you want the bakery will slice it for you and will also allow customers to buy 1/2 loaves.
