Why are the reptiles (snakes) kept in such small glass cages? I can’t think how an Anaconda can live in that small a space. I would request more thought and consideration be shown to the animals in the reptile section particularly.. :(

Usually, reptiles live in small places in the wild. There is also several other animals in the zoo which also need a lot of care. It's like that at many zoos. If you want to know more, talk to one of the zookeepers there. They'll have a better answer.

The reptiles in the Metro Richmond Zoo look far healthier and better taken care of than in any other zoo I've seen. Have you ever visited any other zoo?
