$40 for adults. $30 for children...but well worth it!
We paid $195 for a family membership which we used over 2 days and got into everything. We also got a nice discount on an extraordinary experience, behind the scenes tour $10 each for February, discounted 4D movie, plus discounts for food and gift shop purchases.
General admission: Adult $39.95*, child (3-11) $29.95* Chicago residents: Adult $19.95*, child (3-11) $14.95* A 50% discount!
Not sure what the cost is. I bought what they call City Pass when I visited. Definitely in my case well worth it. You can choose up to 5 places to visit.
If you're going to be in that area for at least 3 days there is the package that gives you the aquarium and a bunch of other places like the engineers museum, Willis tower. Well worth the package than just the aquarium especially that they're all so close to each other.
Also don't forget to consider what you will spend on food and drinks. Or other non inclusive things like the dolphins show or 4-D experience, which ny kids enjoyed. (I think 4D is 4.99 per person, per show) Hope that helps. You can always visit their website to plan your trip...
