No, it's not free. Here's the ticket prices from their website: General admission: Adult $39.95, child (3-11) $29.95 Chicago residents: Adult $19.95, child (3-11) $14.95 As far as parking is concerned, I am not sure how much that would cost.
It is almost $80 for to people to get in. It's only free for residents in certain days.
