City pass is cost effective with larger group if only you want to see few attractions and shedd is one of it.however exclusively for shedd "Group All Acess" is a Good Option.
We used a City Pass. It gives you 5 places to go to. There are 7 options, but you choose the last 2. These arr the options: Shedd Aquarium Skydeck Chicago The Field Museum Museum of Science and Industry - OR - 360 CHICAGO Observation Deck Adler Planetarium - OR - Art Institute of Chicago It gave us some passes to paid exhibits and shows. We were able to watch the dolphin show, but I think the petting part has a different fee. We were able to touch sting rays but not the dolphins. We paid $106 per adult, which was worth the price because I compared individual prices and groupon prices.

I think there is some discount if u bring a group of above 25.... And yes u can get dolphin show vt 40$ tckt n also 4D show. If u have BofA account , u can get a free entry to aquarium bit its only on sundays..
I dont know about the discount, but the dolphin show is included in the ticket.. the petting is not included
No discounts that i know if unless you get a City Pass that gets you into multiple attractions including Shedd Aquarium. I believe the ticket price does include shows but not sure about any petting
