Yes, plenty of street parking, and don't worry if you are not right next to the gardens. Sherwood Gardens is essentially a couple of square blocks within a lovely neighborhood with interesting houses. A stroll to the gardens is pleasant!
Free street parking on sometimes cramped neighborhood streets. In fifteen years I've never failed to get a spot within a block of the gardens, which is useful when carrying picnic things.
