Beautiful private park within a lovely neighborhood of Baltimore. We enjoyed the expansive garden beds full of azaleas at peak bloom. The tulip plantings were exceptional even though it was just past the peak of blooming. There were many Dogwood trees blooming in the background borders.

Like a postcard fairyland of flowers, you see people busy taking pictures of flowers or relax enjoying a day in the garden. Park on the road side, the flowers are inviting right there, you step into the wide open garden, no gate no fence
Cleopatre Lake
Beautiful open park with several clusters of tulips and some azaleas. By taking our time, it took about 1.5hrs. Despite it being a Saturday, it wasn't very crowded. Big open areas that are great for bringing a picnic, throwing the Frisbee, taking in the sun. Tons of free, side street parking in the surrounding residential area.

Sherwood gardens is one of the best public spaces in baltimore. Good for a picnic, or quiet family outing. Also a great spot for photo shoots. It can get crowded on nice days especially when the tulips are in bloom. (Usually on late April)

Mid April, when they're full bloom.
Tulips in april
There are a few stone benches, but not many options for those who can't walk far on uneven ground. I take my aunt who is in her 80s, and each year it's a little harder for her.
Yes nice there in the fall but the Beautiful flowers is not there due to the weather change. But it's indeed relaxing and peaceful
No. Was just there yesterday. Hyacinths are out though.
Hi Alisha, yes, the summer flowers are in the planting beds. To request use of the park for a picnic, please complete the Request Form at https://www.sherwoodgardens.org/event-requests/ . thanks
This year little bit down but still you can spent a good time there.
50 cents a bulb ... the dig starts at 7 am, shovels up at 11 am. Good luck!!
The Sherwood Gardens Summer Flower display runs from June through October. You may see some of the past summer flower displays here: https://www.sherwoodgardens.org/gallery/.
Yeah. Seems to be open to the public. I think that means puctures included.
Yes, that is preferred, although I've never seen anyone stopped by authorities and told that they MUST leash their pets.
I was there Sundsy & the strong wind we had a say or two earlier wiped a lot of them out. The azaleas are in full bloom and there are a couple tulip beds that were shielded from the wind, but not many.
Best time to visit are Apr 15 to May 15 depending on weather. But this year, this week might be the last week to visit as it was already on full bloom when we visited two weeks ago.
They are out in full bloom right now I was just there today
Definitely worth it, I think early to mid May !
@swarna Kristam no tulips yet.its usually around April 15 or 20 tulips are out until May..weve been going there for 4 years will be 5 years this year we usually go those time..by that time cherry blossoms should be blooming too already
Daffodils and some hyacinths and a few trees. The tulips are yet to bloom
Yes , it's a open park, quiet suitable for a picnic
All your proven winners and several perennials
The tulips probably won't be up until mid-April, I'd imagine. But it's still a beautiful place to visit, even if tulips aren't out yet!
yes
Parking is available around the neighborhood and it's free, but it can be limited on the weekends
Yes.
