What time mesa verde park closes ? And can we drive around close loop road even if park closes ?

The park closes at sundown literally and they do not let ppl drive at night

When I was there in August they started encouraging people to leave around 7:30. Sunset is usually when the close all the roads.

The park is open and you can drive to a certain point. They close the road to the ruins at a certain time. Check the website for specific times.
