The trail to the fire tower is a short walk. You can see everything from there.
I agree that Cliff Palace was very cool who is my personal favorite everybody else in my party really liked balcony house if Heights don't bother you I consider some of these tours to be strenuous because there are stairs and some ladders that you have to climb so if a walking tours more your style do the spruce tree while you can't see spruce tree house because it's closed there's still plenty to see
Buy tickets ahead of time for the Cliff Palace tour. It takes about 45 minutes to drive into the park to Cliff Palace, as well. If you have more time do the driving loop to see more in a short time
