I like September best of all the leaves are turning the weather is pleasant and everything is open.

I was there in early October and it was beautiful

All months are suitable. To sée the ancient cliff dwellings requires a hike and a climb down then back up ladders. So in the hotter months you might sweat more. Fall and spring are probably ideal.

My favorite times are late April early May and late September mid October.

Frank Filice | Nov 8, 2018

Summers are hot but beautiful. The winters, especially when there is snow on the ground, can be a real treat but not all of the park is open .

Jo Ann Jones | Nov 8, 2018

My favorite times are spring and fall. Summer is too hot for me!

Kerri Holden | Nov 8, 2018

Winter is beautiful too.. but somethings are closed.

Isaac Wilson | Nov 8, 2018

I agree with may, I was there in November and they close most walking trails. Plus it's brown from winter. Spring and early summer just check the park for any potential trail or ruins being closed. That was a very disappointing thing to get there and have half the stuff closed.
