We will be in the area around Aug. 25 or 27. I have very limited walking ability. Mesa Top Loop Road highly recommended, but will it be closed then. Museum, etc. closed due to Covid. Am I going to be able to see much?

I was there last weekend. Cliff dwellings are closed off so you will be able to see everything from a vantage point. You'll won't need to walk much at all to see the views.

You will be able to see the square house and a couple others. Cliff palace is viewable from the sun temple area. You will be able to see plenty, even though you will not be able to enter any of the dwellings. Also, the excavations in the smaller villages are able to be seen via the smooth walking paths. I'd still go, you just never know when or if you'll be able to go again.

Petroglyph point trail is amazing but I would not recommend it if who have limited walking ability. The trail was a lil rough.
