If you get there before 6 am there was no one at the gate. As a disabled vet, I have a national park pass, but I suggest getting there early anyways to watch the sunrise over the Mesa

May 1-October 31 the entrance fee is $30 for a vehicle
It was $20 last month but we got in free with the Every Kid Outdoors fourth grade pass. They were not offering the guided tours when we went due to Covid but that would have been an extra fee.
