The Cliff Palace Loop Road is closed for construction through at least the end of June. when do expect this area to be open as we are going to visit the park in late july

We were there about a week ago and it was closed. That said, there is so much to do on the other plateaus that we really didn't mind a bit. The famous photographers overlook to Cliff Palace is still open, as it is part of the other loop in that area of the park.

I would call. That loop was closed when I was there in May.

It was still closed and we were there on the 17th, one place said it will open at the end of the month

They told us last week, it could be a couple more weeks, and according to the website...they will start on Mesa Top Loop Rd. then. So, be prepared for anything, there's no exact date. You can see Cliff Palace from Mesa Top Loop. If you want to take a guided tour...you must sign up 14 days prior to your date at max...the spots fill up almost instantly, as they are the BEST way to see the BEST sites up close and personal.

We were there last weekend and the loop was still closed. When I asked they said around beginning of July/late June it would be open. Then the other loop is set to close so they can redo that road as well. I can't remember the name, but the loop right next to it I believe

You should probably call. But I was able to get to cliff Palace last week unless the closure is new. Then it will just be a surprise when you show up.
