Yes there is, it is about 4.5 miles all the way around.
As others have answered, there is a path. HOWEVER, at times of heavy rainfall or overspill from the dam, one may be unable to cross Accotink Creek at the dam. A new bridge is planned but not there yet. Check the water level at the dam before starting out or you will have to retrace your steps to get back to your starting point.
The path around the lake also connects to the Cross County Trail (CCT), which is over 40 miles long, in case 4.5 is too short for your tastes 😉
