You'll have to get a new license in Cali if you're moving there anyway. Just renew your license in Cali (well switch your license). The renewal period is 2yrs so all of your credentials are still good. Or you can try being a walkin Mon-Sat. Saturday is a good day to drop in. Update: As of April all COVID waivers are done. Out of state licenses have to be up to date. If you renew online but just don't have it in hand that is fine. Our the system will let them know your status. They take walkins as well. Go early in the mornings.

I was told if I hadn't got in before mines had expired that I still wouldve been ok. U might wanna give them a call to make sure though
