Is this a good place for people to run also? Do not want to get in way of people with their dogs....

I would think so --i definitely would. Your dog just might get distracted by the crowd of dogs mentioned below. Trails are wide with plenty of room to go around when you're closer to parking lot, still mostly double track when you get a mile or two out.

You definitely can. The area isn't so tight that you couldn't run around them. The dogs are mostly condensed into one area (by the big tree and water) but the trails around are usually open
