Are snakes an issue at this park?

They can be, more prevalent during the cooler hours.

I haven't seen any. Just signs saying they are there.

There was a large rattlesnake on the trail two weeks ago, by the river. Such a wonderful park though!

I've only seen one snake and it was swimming in the creek. There is a sign saying that rattlesnakes are in the area though.

Not really just be aware they are out there like any other area

I haven't personally had a confrontation with snakes, however, I usually dont allow my dogs straying to far off the path. I have heard of people having confrontations with snakes so be vigilant when you are walking!
