They don't rush people with the mountain of food they give yah. It's unlimited family style sides, of mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn, biscuits, and salad. It's a very homely atmosphere where you're treated like family. Food is fantastic and definitely worth an hour wait.
Their times vary, depending on when you go. I've waited as little as 5 mins, and I've waited as long as an hour. But generally it moves pretty quick. As with any place, smaller parties always get in quicker. But it's worth the wait!
The wait varies, but if you like home cooked comfort style foods in a big family way it's great
Wait time varies. Just like everyone else comments it varies
We went there during a visit with our kids & grandkids, during Christmas. We had gone around 11:30am, & got seated right away. But, during the time we were there - the place filled up very quickly. I would agree that it's worth the wait. Food was great!! Atmosphere was unique, & our waitress was very sweet & courteous.
Don't let the lack of wait time over the phone be a deterrent. This is totally acceptable in any restaurant. It's well worth it
The food and the atmosphere make it worth the wait! Plus you can call in and get it to go!
Was told 30 mins wait, was in less 10 mins
Your wait time will vary widely depending on how long people sit and talk during and after the meal. This isn't fast food. A wait is normal, judging the time would be difficult. People would be madder if they were told 15 minutes but it took 30.
Waiting time does vary but worth the wait.
