The staff were polite and friendly, but didn't seem very excited to be there. They did a hokey pokey dance at certain intervals and seemed tortured by it. A man in a cowboy hat, who seemed to be a manager, stood at a podium staring at the staff, gripping the podium like a baptist preacher with a hellfire sermon on his mind. He didn't seem too happy to be there either. Occasionally a staff person grabbed a mic and sang an auto tune assisted ditty for the diners. It was awkward, but a nice attempt at atmosphere enhancement. Overall I didn't dislike it. It made me smile. Oh and the food...savory but over-seasoned. I'd like to come back and give it another go. We were there on a holiday so we may not have had the A team working that day. I'll update my review should things go better on my next visit.

Rustic and charming, this local favorite is the place to go for good home cooking. The menu is simple - Chicken! Your only choice is fried chicken, chicken fried steak, chicken tenders or the only different item - catfish- fried of course. From there everything else included and in endless quantities. The sides are served family style - first salad and hot biscuits with butter and honey. Then with your main meal green beans, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything is delicious and their very consistent- this being my fourth trip to Frisco and Babes always being on my list of places to visit. Oh and Babes is bring your own liquor so be sure you do! On this visit our server Tyler was great. Quick to bring out our order and on top of refills of drinks and additional sides. If your in Frisco and want good chicken this is your place. Just be sure to come early or be ready to wait. This place is popular!
Life Present
I loved this experience here. The food is one of a kind flavor and is suuuper great. The atmosphere is very relaxing and encompasses you. For the amount of food they give you in a single serving, it's well worth the money. I don't know what these other few last reviewers are talking about. The waitress was very polite and gave awesome service. By faaar, a top notch dinning experience!! Thank you guys!!! The old firetruck was super cool too and the young ladies are a nice treat.😛

No I don't believe you can
Masks worn by guests while walking to/from your table. Not required while at your table. Staff all wore masks 100% of the time.

Not sure, you could ask for it, or e-mail them!

Yes, just dont expect to eat a big dinner as well, you get a healthy amout of food for lunch.
They don't rush people with the mountain of food they give yah. It's unlimited family style sides, of mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed corn, biscuits, and salad. It's a very homely atmosphere where you're treated like family. Food is fantastic and definitely worth an hour wait.
