Why am I being taxed $0.80 on a $9 purchase? Loveland sales tax is 6.7%, so 9*.067 is $0.60. So what gives?

The total sales tax in Loveland CO on any purchase other than food, service, or certain food items is 6.7% unless there is a PIF/RSF. There is no PIF/RSF at that location, to my knowledge.

Unfortunately a lot of times there's more then 1 tax. If you look on your receipt you may see 2 or 3 different taxes. Walmart & King Soopers have them too.
