Cuz it's now based on demand, and worker availability. To remain profitable ( some of these are franchises), it you don't have enough demand to offset costs, it makes sense to close based on peak hours of operation. Covid brought this reality to a lot of businesses. In some high crime areas, even pharmacies, grocery stores, currency exchanges, shoe and department store likewise close for different, but understandable reasons. The websites are controlled by corporate interests, and the ability to incorporate hours of business changes on a case by case basis is not feasible. If you have time to look them up on the internet, another few seconds to call and make sure their open, might save you a trip.
