I sent my tax return in on mid march..They are saying now it could take 6 months. I tried to call, and used there site to speak with a representives.. Again neither could give me a respond on where my filing is. This is absolutely unexceptional. How do you get money owed to you from this agency? In a reasonable time. My fear is ill never see the money they owe me for 2021. Could this be how they do my 2022, 2023 going further.

they spend more time trying to ignore people than anything. no one knows how to do there job. exerting a automated system and they'll tell you they cans do change nor modify anything as its all automated. then what's there job?? what can they actually do?? why is my taxes late... no one to tell me just they spend millions to ignore us.

You can call the IRS appointment number, but I found it easier to go in person and secure it.
Just go to the building. They helped me in 2min.
If you want to go to TAC, Taxpayer Assistance Center- yes, schedule an appointment
This building is the Edith Green Federal Building. The only staff on hand is Federal Protective Services (security). Many of the Federal agencies in that building have very limited hours and limited staff.
There is a parking structure behind the building at 100 sw Jefferson for the first two hours it is the same rate as street parking
Yes, open for walk-ins. Heavy security including x-ray, body scanner.
Easy. Just walk in there. They'll give you 1/2 hour worth. Beyond that they will schedule you on the spot.
There is parking on the street, nearby as well as parking garages. You will pay to park.
Not open on Saturdays and Sundays
In general, you can just get a copy of the return and file. You may have fees assessed. You probably only need to talk with someone if you need a payment plan for back taxes. And even then only after you file.
Yes. For now I would not even bother. The IRS might as well be shut down. They expect you to do everything online and do their job for them all while these people are still getting paid. If what you need doesn't fit in one of their predetermined little responses then plan on hours and hours on hold, if you can even get past the initial receptionist. Our entire government has failed us and this country. We need to get rid of them and start over.
You'll need to call the IRS
No. You have to have appointment.
I think a lot of people are calling about their stimulus checks also I haven't got mine and there's no access to the IRS building unless you have an appointment but because so many people are calling it's hard to get an appointment
Everyone's taxes issue is different. You need to Call IRS main line and select economic impact line (a live person). After, ask if they can transfer you to n live agent regarding your taxes.
IRS Form 3949-A
Your sentence is incoherent. Please try again
You have to make an appointment and have ID, but yes, it can be done in theory.
Go to the IRS.GOV site and track your refund status
Always come prepared with a passport or some form secondary ID.
SW 3rd Ave but only by appointment
Make an appointment, very easy and suprisingly painless, even at this time of year.
Me no understand you question
Call the IRS or visit one of their offices, I suggest setting an appointment online. I would also suggest thinking a little harder about soliciting taxation info in this forum. How confident in the answers you may get here should you be? My, ahem, money. Is on "not so much."
