Great training center with knowledgeable and experienced instructors. Welding machines, torch sets, rebar-packing and tying, steel to erect, and multiple machines Ironworkers use everyday. All this equipment and the best training provided for apprentices and returning journeymen. Weld certifications, 1st Aid and CPR certification, and an Associates Degree are achievable through the apprenticeship. Foreman training, recertifications, Super Intendant training and many other classes are available to existing journeymen. The Ironworkers Credit Union is included at this location for a plethora of financial services. Here, you are treated like family, and we are all brothers and sisters. The best opportunity on the planet is right here!

Does this post cover prefab and sheet metal construction?

If it's a building and it has metal parts then ironworkers do it.

Hi - I am interested in information about welding programs in the Portland area. Would it be possible to send information about Union apprenticeship programs? Any information is appreciated.

Call the apprenticeship coordinator. They'll teach a He ll of a lot more than how to weld.
