My husband and I just stayed a night at the Hyatt, and I’ve stayed before. We loved it. The staff are wonderful, the rooms clean and lovely, beautiful view, quiet, it’s a fantastic experience. Things some have complained about are either no issue for us, or things we like. The sensor light under the bed was a welcome feature, and goes off right away - my husband was up several times during the night and it never woke me, but was of great help for him. We like the toilet having it’s own separate space, no smelly showers!😂 And the sound from the air/heat in the toilet space minimal. Love the complementary water, refrigerator, and keurig coffee maker nice also. You need to turn onto Chancellor Street to unload. All hotel parking is expensive downtown, we found a lot much cheaper that was a four minute walk away, something to consider. And there are so - many - restaurants nearby, including incredible pizza across the street. Highly recommended.

Hotel had a good location and beds are comfortable. However two main things I thought were not justifiable for the price. This Hyatt engages in hygiene theater meaning they don’t provide room service as a way to protect guests from Covid (it’s mid-2022, we are vaccinated) when it’s clearly a cost cutting facade. For over $900 I paid for two nights, I would’ve really liked to have my room refreshed after walking around Philly all day. They only called me at 9 AM (annoyingly) to ask if I wanted a new shampoo bottle (yes because I just dumped the whole thing on my head the first night). The other thing I found super annoying was the under bed motion sensor lights. Maybe there was a way to turn them off, but I couldn’t figure it out. The lights would even turn on when my sheet was hanging off the bed a bit. Again, the hotel is fine but I think you can find better service for the price point.

I loved my stay. I booked a standard king room, and yet it was plenty spacious. The layout was so well thought out and comfy. The TV was huge and could cast from your phone. Very walkable location. I recommend!

No issues at all at this hotel. The design of the whole place was so modern and cozy feeling. The bed was pretty cool too since there's motion sensors on the bottom where small floor lights turn on when you get off the bed. These kinds of small details really make the place. The lobby area had a nice looking bar which I wish I tried out. If you're looking to do valet parking you might want to get there a little before check in time to avoid the traffic of everyone else checking in. I probably had to wait like 20 min waiting in line to get my car into the garage.
