My experience with Off Leash K9 Training has been nothing but stellar. From the consultation to the pick-up of my dog there was never a missed beat, lapsed contact or any sense of anything less than diligent professionalism. My dog went into the care of Cassie for his training, and I must strongly attest to the quality, care, compassion & thoroughness that went into his training. Every single day I was treated to an update on his progress, it was very satisfying watching my dog work his way through training and I was deeply impressed when the time came to pick him up. My wife and I were carefully and patiently educated on how to "use" and maintain the skills that Cassie so competently imparted to my dog. The relationship did not end with the turning over of the dog, Cassie continues to check in and make sure both owner and dog are happy and getting the maximum out of his training. My dogs training has allowed him to engage in many more activities that he would have otherwise been excluded from, he is happier and we as a family (my young children included) have enjoyed the ability to have him occupy a larger presence in our lives as he is no longer just left home. If you are reading this wondering if this is for you? Is it a value? Am I really going to get the promised product? I can honestly say it is worth it! I am happier, the dog is happier, and we will have the benefit and joy of this training for many years to come.

I obtained my dog from a local rescue but unfortunately didn’t research any of the inherent problems that usually come with getting a rescue dog. I ended up with a little guy who was insecure, nervous, reactive and standoffish - not what I had in mind when I started the process. I was not enjoying Peanut, and I seriously doubt I was his favorite person either. However after a year I was so attached to him and could not think of my life without him ❤️. After searching the internet for help I decided to consult with the Eugene K9 Offleash Training Program. Ryan was friendly, informative and he just let Peanut sniff. Never forced an interaction. I decided to go with the two week board and train program and really the rest is history - along with the promise of a fabulous future with Peanut! It was an easy drop off for both pet and owner. The nightly Peanut updates from Mandy and Ryan were so helpful. I still felt connected to Mr. P and could see the training was effective. The pickup included a two hour owner training session that was SO thorough. They don’t just hand your dog off to you - with written instructions. Along with a complete overview of the collar and transmitter I received an in-depth explanation of all the commands. I then tried out what I had learned on my actual dog! It was so exciting to see it all work! Peanut’s time away was plenty of time for Ryan and Mandy to give my dog a solid foundation for all commands outlined in the contract, but it is SO important to follow through with home training on your own. Their job was complete but my job had just begun. I’ve already taken advantage of their promise of lifetime support, and I can see Mandy and Ryan will always make time for Peanut. This training is worth every penny spent. Along with his excellent training I can also see an increased bonding with Peanut, and that itself is worth its weight in gold. Lynne Wilson and Peanut

Let me first say that it has been my dream to own a GSD since I was 15 years old. I pictured this dog going everywhere with me, well-trained, and a constant companion. Nate Tuffanelli allowed me to have my dream dog and so much more. I put my GSD, Reva, with Nate specifically after being referred to him by a friend in Portland. I waited patiently for the first available board and train with Nate and signed up minutes after he had an opening. Reva was was not as confident as other GSDs and I explained to Nate that I had reservations about her being in training because of her mild-mannered personality and lack of confidence. I even panicked a little a few days into training and Nate reassured me that Reva was doing awesome, responding well to the work, and was building confidence each day. He walked me through each day with pictures and updates, helped me with better food choices for Reva, and instructed me on how to fit Reva’s new training into my life with my 3 young daughters. He has a “work hard/play hard” approach to his training which I loved. He opened his home to my dog which made me feel so at ease having her away for 2 weeks. She was part of his life, home, and family which is just incredible. When I went to pick Reva up, she was a different dog. Confident, happy, and trained. Nate answered my laundry list of questions and guided me through 2 hours of one on one training. I brought home the dog of my dreams. She literally goes everywhere with my daughters and I off leash which is a dream come true. Nate still keeps up with me and asks how my little “fuzzball” (as he calls her) is doing. The relationship he builds with his clients doesn’t stop when you take your pup home. He is incredible and I am so thankful for his work.

I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and results of this program. Nate was amazing. He gave me updates throughout in the form of photos, videos, and oftentimes daily breakdowns of how our GSD was doing. The amount of training he fit into 2 weeks is nothing short of remarkable. I appreciate most that this doesn't seem to be "just a job" to him, he took a genuine interest in our dog and took great care of her. She seems like she LOVED being put to work as well! Thank you so much for everything!! Our feisty girl absolutely loved her time in Bend training with Nate.
