The nurses are friendly, professional and happy, but it doesn’t make up for the extremely SLOW care and results. Waited for almost an hour before I finally saw my Doctor, just to be told we couldn’t discuss everything I needed to due to “running out of time” (my Doctor’s own words). Referrals never contact you, and appointment dates are booked so far out. Overall, it’s a poor excuse for a Medical Center.

The front desk staff usually look bored and grumpy. The MAs who cleaned my ears were rough and put me in pain. Most of the staff other than the doctors have mostly been rude and unpleasant generally and do not look happy to be there. Though my doctor was a kind woman, she barely addressed my concerns when I used to get seen there. It’s very hard to get ahold of the office. I usually had to schedule about a month out and I pretty much always had an appointment scheduled because I didn’t get taken care of well at all and they just didn’t listen to me thoroughly and didn’t let me ask all my questions. I’m so glad I found a better place. Where people aren’t rude, rough, and neglectful.

The 2 stars are only for the doctors and their nurses, they're awesome and understand what's going on. They are also quick with referrals if there are any concerns or needs. The front staff and whoever runs the "Covid checkin" downstairs are the WORST. Very inconsistent and rude, especially as the first person you interact with. The gals at the desks always look unhappy. It's also inconsistent with wait times depending on the department, even if you have a scheduled appointment.

Have received poor patient care and customer service at several of the seamar clinics throughout the years. Unfortunately Seamar is one of very few clinics available to patients with Washington apple health. Most recently I scheduled an appointment for my husband, and the soonest they had available was 4 weeks out. Once the appointment occurred, The Physician’s Assistant he was assigned prescribed antibiotics for what she diagnosed as ingrown hair. Hard to understand how you would have ingrown hair on the back of your ear and why, if that’s what you really thought it was, your first move was to throw antibiotics at it. He also went in for chronic lower back pain. He’d actually been seen by this PA a couple of years ago, and at the time she completely disregarded his concerns and told him that there wasn’t anything to be done about his pain and there wasn’t anything wrong. This time, she referred him for an X-ray, and for physical therapy. The physical therapist that he was referred to does not accept his insurance. Their receptionist mentioned that they’ve had this problem a lot and they have had to call Seamar and tell them they do not accept this insurance many times (of course, Seamar says they have no way of noting in their system that this physical therapist is out of network). I called Seamar back to ask for another referral. They said that they had to send the request back to the PA to have it rerouted and they would call back. Fast forward a week later and we still hadn’t heard anything. I called again, and they said it had just been sent over to the new physical therapy clinic. I called them to schedule and they didn’t have the referral either. The bottom line is dealing with Seamar is a headache on its own, which honestly I would tolerate if they had any sort of standard of medical care. Unfortunately, based on the various nurses, doctors, and other advanced practice providers our family has been seen by, it’s been made clear they don’t. Our children have privately paid for insurance, and the level of care they receive at The Vancouver Clinic is amazing. The difference is night and day. During the next open enrollment period, we will be resorting to pay privately for insurance plans for the whole family so that we know our everyone will receive quality healthcare.

Depends on insurance. I'd speak with the Medical professional assisting you to better understand your options.
