My cat, hasn't been feeling well for weeks now, and we took him to the vet when it first started in the beginning of the month. We paid them like 500 or something dollars to investigate what's going on with him, which would have been a lot higher since they wanted to do xrays and ultrasounds. Eventually, they told us he has a bacteria in his bladder and its bad, so they need to send out a culture of his urine. They email me instead of call me for some reason, and i don't check my emails immediately. So they are like, we gota take another urine sample, I have to bring my cat in for the second time. Then they get the sample and send it out, but the lab lost his urine sample, so they have to retake it again, so i have to bring my poor traumatized kitty three times now to the vet. I finally get the results just now, even though they sent it to my email on friday because again, they didn't call me. And they say, "oh he actually doesn't have a bacteria in his urine, it's actually just a UTI." 700 dollars for a vet to tell me he has a UTI after 3 weeks when we initially brought him in. Also, my fiance said it sounds like a UTI before we went to the vet. So nice to know my fiance who knows nothing about the medical field knows more than our vet.

I initially wrote a poor review in regard to the unprofessionalism and neglect of care from one of the veterinarians staffed here a year ago (6/2021). Despite advocating for my kitten's symptoms, the vet stated they did not notice anything during the brief interaction. Because of this, I had to seek the care of a different vet clinic (Pearl Animal Hospital) to get my kitten's URI symptoms resolved. *The business's response that my first name is not in their system is accurate, as they spelled it "Nadeleiee" despite my attempts to correct them.

All staff and vets are so kind, welcoming, and very attentive. My little cutie Bibi has been well treated, and they explained well about their treatment. Absolutely there was no push for additional treatment or services. Very satisfied with them and this will be the primary care for my pup.

I cannot recommend this vet clinic highly enough!! They are kind, professional, responsive, considerate, and truly care about the well-being of your pets. Here's the full story: Our golden retriever puppy Winnie was around the end of her first heat cycle when we started noticing some concerning symptoms. We took her in to WellHaven to check on her and try to get a diagnosis. They found an infection and prescribed some antibiotics, but let us know we should keep an eye on her because it was possible the infection was a sign of a more serious condition called pyometra. We watched her closely the next day, and when things got worse quickly, we rushed her back in to WellHaven. It was a busy day for them and their schedule was completely booked. But they agreed to see her and with one look they could tell she was not doing well. They took her and started testing and monitoring her between scheduled clients--one technician skipped her lunch break to be sure to watch Winnie closely. X-Rays revealed she did have pyometra, which was cause for emergency, life-saving surgery. WellHaven was completely booked that day and the next, so they called vet emergency hospitals in the area to see if anyone was available. Nothing was available, so WellHaven cleared all their appointments for the next morning and called in additional staff who would have otherwise been off, all to save our puppy's life. The surgery was successful and far more affordable than it would have been at emergency hospitals. At every step of this awful journey every veterinarian, technician, and assistant we worked with was kind, compassionate, professional, responsive, considerate, patient with our stress and loving/gentle towards our puppy. I am honestly still shocked at their level of service and care. If more people and businesses took care of their customers and patients like WellHaven, the world would be a better place. I can't express how grateful I am that they moved heaven and earth to save my dog's life.

WellHaven Pet Health Cedar Hills | Aug 18, 2019

Yes, our entire staff is Fear Free certified. It's generally very pleasant for pets here--particularly for cats, who tend to be more timid than dogs in a veterinary setting.
