Vista Pet Hospital in collaboration with imaginepeaceforpups.org helped us with getting Loki Cat neutered. Loki did not appreciate losing his man bits, and we hated putting him through that, but I. The end, he'll have a less stressful life, there will be fewer unwanted and feral kitties around, and we won't have to deal with his territorial assertions! Thanks Amy at imaginepeaceforpups, and thanks Vista Pet Hospital for treating Loki (and us) so well!

I’ve been there twice to get my bunnies neutered. The staff was so welcoming and kind on the phone and in person. My bunnies surgeries went smoothly, and they recovered nicely. Also a plus, the most affordable price I could find. I’ve recommended to a friend who had the same good experience. Bunnies surgeries can be scary and stressful but they know what they’re doing .

We've taken our pets to this clinic for more than 10 years, and have had family pets that were seen for even longer than that (I'd estimate about 16 years in total). The care has always been fine (pretty typical vet care). In all that time, though, we must have never been late to an appointment, because I did not know how rigid their policies were. Due to heavy rain and traffic, I was 12 minutes late to our 20-minute appointment today, and the vet would not see our pet for vaccinations and told us we needed to reschedule. I had called them on the way to let them know there was heavy traffic and that we'd be late, as a courtesy, and they still wouldn't honor the appointment when we arrived. We left without rescheduling. They did confirm they would not be charging us for the appointment. Their policy is clear, and they are free to implement it as rigidly as they see fit for their clinic, but I think we'll be looking for a clinic that has a bit more empathy to unforeseen circumstances and understands the stress that is caused to a cat when making a trip to the vet. Also, I noticed a sign out front today that instructed clients to "be nice" or your pet won't be seen. This was the first time I noticed such a sign. While I recognize that services are experiencing challenges right now due to the pandemic and dealing with more frustrated clients, I do think that, in this case, perhaps a bit more empathy and flexibility in their practice and policies might render such a sign unnecessary.

The vets and staff are absolutely amazing. We followed our vet here and are soooooo happy we did. The staff are friendly and provide a warm and welcoming environment for our dog. He does not like going to the vet but they make him comfortable and I can see they all truly care about his well-being. The vets are absolutely the same way and are straight forward with what is going on. Our dog recently had a double knee surgery and I would it trust any other vet as much as I trusted them to do it. Costs are at par or better than other places and you will know up front what to expect. I have seen some harsh reviews, but I think it’s because they are straight forward and don’t sugar coat what’s going and tell you the truth, which I really respect. If you are looking for a new vet so not look any further, this is THE place to go! Love you all for what you do!

We regularly experience a high volume of calls, so if you can’t get through to us via phone, email is the best option. We do not check our voicemail. If you are looking to schedule an exam or refill medications, you can do so using our online scheduling system, PetDesk.

Do you take pet insurance?

We work with pet insurance plans, however we do not take insurance plans in lieu of payment. Most pet insurances require payment at time of service and offer reimbursement for charges covered by your specific plan. We do not directly negotiate or communicate with insurance companies on your behalf.

Yes we do! We do charge an additional $10 for 3 days of pain medicine, however. In addition to that, we do require a $50 deposit at the time of booking your surgical appointment for new clients, with this deposit going towards your overall invoice total. However, if an appointment is canceled or rescheduled without 24 hours notice, you will lose your deposit.

What do you charge for exams?

No, we are a primary care clinic meaning we see regularly scheduled appointments. We don’t have the resources to treat pet emergencies or same day urgent cases. If you have a pet emergency, we will most likely refer you to one of the local veterinary emergency hospitals.

What do they charge for teeth cleaning for dogs

Vista cleaned my small dogs teeth and removed several for a VERY reasonable price compared to other quotes we got prior. Dental can really range from like $300-$2000 depending on the clinic. Im pretty confident Vista stuck to the lower more affordable range when we used them.
