This was such a lovely find! Not crowded at all, even though there was a large group in the bird watching area (and tons of birds!). Very friendly docent at the front to greet you and give you a trail map.

Walk up the slight incline to the benches to watch the birds at watering holes and bird feeders. Canyon wren, california quail, scrub jay, Anna's hummingbird, spotted towhee.

Beautiful area! Lots of birds (and other wildlife if you are lucky!) A hidden gem! Great, well kept hiking trails!

A beautiful area with hiking for all skill levels as well as an observation area suitable for those with limited or no mobility. The volunteer docents are great and able to answer many questions about the local ecosystem as well as assist with identification of flora and fauna. There is even a small cabin with indoor museum-style exhibits.
