HIDDEN GEM…a very scenic course that offers variety from rolling hills and placement golf to long and straight, where both water and trees come into play. Both beginners and golf veterans will appreciate this course. The best part of the course is it’s people… small town, neighborhood feel. Juana, Tom, and team are wonderful in the pro shop, always accommodating when possible. The bar/restaurant service is always friendly and outgoing. The way the new management has come in and pivoted has been nothing short of exceptional. I don’t understand some of these one star reviews or the way I see people talk to the employees sometimes, almost with a sense of entitlement. Calm down…it’s just golf. If slow play bothers you, ask to play through. This is not a hard concept. If you need that country club feeling, go spend twice as much at some course in a gated community in Naperville, Karen. I look forward to playing your course again soon.

Okay came back yr 2. These girls couldnt run a lemonade stand. Period. Why buy a golf course and not take care of it. Sad reality here at hughs. Don't give your money to these people. New owner and operations cant even touch the level of professionalism this golf course used to have. Don't expect to get a rain check or be treated with respect. Rates do not in anyway reflect the way this course plays. Hughes was a home away from home for me and many others but now it's a sad new time. Long grass around paths and under trees white stakes and near farway. Never was like this. Cart paths are a acid reflex attack New management cut all the wrong corners and raised prices. Play elsewhere. This is sad to say

The bread for my wife's prime rib sandwich was plain and dry. My BLT had very little bacon. I had to open it up to see if it was there. I was wondering if the "b" stood for bread. They give three slices, too much bread. The service was very good.

Really fun, but difficult layout, elevation changes can make club selection challenging, greens roll really well with hard breaks

I got an email from Hughes Creek and it said that GolfVisions Management, Inc. will be running the course this year. So Hughes Creek will be open in 2021.
