I'm currently an established patient at another Providence office (Bethany) and I need to establish care with a new primary care physician since mine is no longer practicing. I tried calling this Orenco office because it is closer to me and also the Bethany office doesn't answer their phones anymore. When I called the Orenco office, the automated message says that new patients looking to establish care should schedule an appointment online and then it hangs up on you. When I went to their website to do that, it wouldn't let me book an appointment because online scheduling is only for existing patients - UGH! I have been a Providence patient for 25 years but the customer service has become abhorrent. What are they doing???

If I could leave less than a one star review, I would. Dr. Roth is amazing; the entire office staff is completely incompetent. They are unhelpful, uncaring, unprofessional and a slew of other negative adjectives. They advertise using MyChart to talk directly with your doctor, but you can't actually do that. Even if you ask to only have the doctor respond, to PRIVATE messages, some other random person will. The receptionist Mandie literally pretended like she couldn't hear me on the phone (it was obvious she could since she was waiting for me to say something and would then respond with "the line is breaking up") and then hung up on me. She refused to help, refused to transfer to another person, refused to even look at my medical file. The only reason I was calling was because of THEIR mistake in coding; I had completed my portion of what needed to occur but obviously they had not and refused to help. Do not go here. You will be treated like you are less than a person.

I couldn't be happier with my Doctor (Dr. Sara Garey) and the staff at Orenco. The amount of care and dedication by my doctor is amazing and the staff are so awesome in accommodating me and my sometimes (well, most of the time, lol) outrageous requests (for paperwork, answering questions and putting up with my bad jokes.) Cant give them enough love!! I keep wanting to and immediately forgetting to buy flowers for them!

Do NOT use their app to book an appointment like I did. They would not give me a prescription refill on my routine meds without a visit. No big deal... so I made an appointment using their app and chose "general" as the reason for the appointment. They then, based on the app, coded my visit as a routine physical which my insurance doesn't cover, would not change it and now I had to pay $380 for the visit OUT OF POCKET. Never going back.... and I didn't even get a physical for my $380!!!
