Picnic tables, walking trail around a lake, fantastic playground, and ball fields. Also home to Cooperative Extension Service and Parks and Rec offices.

This place is a great place for all ages, it has lots of sports fields( tennis, football, lacrosse, soccer,baseball, etc) It also has great fishing experiences BUT beware of the gators! Beware of all wildlife as well, the birds sure do like to try to steal your food!

I have seen people fishing there on numerous occassions, but I don't know if the county allows it. Call the Sarasota County Parks Department to find out.

Yes you can fish, but you need a fresh water license to be legal. If you have a Florida food stamp card, that will work too. You can get a license from Walmart. If this is helpful, please give it a thumbs up. Thanks and have fun.
