Don't be fooled by the new paint job, this place is not worth it. I've lived here for 2 years and they've had 3 new owners in that time frame. Good luck getting through to anybody in the office with the newest owners. The walls in the apartments are so thin, I can clearly hear conversations from people next door. There was also a huge hole in the bathroom wall that we tried to get fixed for months. We had neighbors who smoked and thanks to this huge hole they wouldn't fix, our bathroom constantly reeked of smoke. They claim it's a smoke free community, but wouldn't do anything about this problem even knowing that I was pregnant, had a toddler and my husband has asthma. They cut our electricity to do "upgrades" to the electrical panel, despite being told I work from home and that would be a problem (the contractor told me the panels were so old they could have started a fire, and we had already been living there for over a year). They didn't care. They also have a major bug issue, mine was mostly spiders, due to the carpets not being installed properly. Our storage unit is overrun with spiders so we couldn't even use it. We also couldn't comfortably sit on our patio because the whole complex is overrrun with squirrels. So many people walk their dogs and don't pick up their poop, to the point where we couldn't even allow our young daughter to walk in the grass because she definitely would step in some. This place is not worth the price.

My husband I just took a tour of the complex with Kathleen and she was very knowledgeable and showed us the various options for one bedroom apartments. She explained the application process and the extra fees we need to pay such as trash and sewage. We were impressed by the updates and the usage of space in the apartments.

I appreciate the current management! The great job done when I needed anything fixed, I so appreciate it. Larry J the maintenance person stands out in the crowd in handling repairs. Thank you! I appreciate the new outside lighting as well as I feel it adds an extra layer of security for us all. The curtesy of the staff (receptionist, management , and maintenance )i are simply amazing ! I appreciate management (Raquel) for addressing any of my concerns and afterwards, working with me to resolve it. Overall, people need a place they can call home; regardless to escalating housing cost that can not be afforded. Working with the current management of Fox Valley Village's allows me to feel comfortable, secure and right at home.

I just moved in 3 weeks ago and noticed a few things that needed to be fixed. I called the office and within the hour Jose from maintenance came and fixed everything with a smile. It's nice when you call for help and you actually get help. From the office staff to the maintenance team they did a fantastic job. Wonderful customer service and friendly staff. Great job!
