Took my five-year-old in to get outfitted with a brand new and first CCS board. John took the time with my son to make sure the width and the wheels were right for his kind of riding. I would 100% recommend Daddies board shop. Amazing service at CCS. Took a friend in to get set up with her first board. Staff member Corey was super helpful and patient with us old kooks. Inspired me to splurge on a new board for myself. CCS had the exact deck on my wishlist in the back warehouse. Seems the place has anything your looking for, and super friendly staff. Recommended.

The guys in the shop were great - exceptionally out-of-this-world great. I'm getting back into skating after decades of not doing it so I can experience it with my 8 yr old son (Ie. we're both noobs). I picked up some slide pads and new wheels for my kid's board. The guy who helped me was gracious, experienced and helpful. For example, I asked him how I can transfer bearings from old wheels to new wheels. The guy was like, "no problem," grabbed his personal board and gave me a bearing replacement demo on the spot. Great shop. You'll be impressed. After posting this, I read other reviews and the complaints about customer service, so I'm editing my review, herein. I'm not negating other people's experiences, but I'm doubling down on what I wrote above. I don't submit retail reviews very often, but I did this time, because it was exceptional. Their in-store Portland staff is rad.

The employees here were so helpful and friendly. I was so overwhelmed by all the different choices of decks/parts/wheels/etc but they were very patient with me, helped me find a deck that worked for me, helped me find it in exactly the right size and color and walked me through the ins and outs of all the parts I was buying. Very happy with the board they built me.
