This location is not as good as it was 4 or 5 years ago. Used to live in Vancouver and sold here/shopped here all the time for my baby. They always paid well before....but now it's minimal and it's just teenagers behind the counter. I brought a lot of gently used no stains clothes, shoes, etc in a single large bin (because when I got there first thing in the morning they said they have a 1 bin limit today). I had 4 other bins in the truck and a nice stroller. They only took a handful of items out of the huge bin for $9 store credit, but not the stroller. The only way I bumped that to $25 store credit was by bringing in a life jacket and baby carrier pack from another bin. I will be taking everything else to the Salem location, from what I hear it's better. By the way, the quality of what they are reselling is rarely any better than what I brought in, since I did spend about 20 minutes digging through things trying to spend the store credit.

Unfortunately a great resource is tainted by bad ownership and poor customer service. We took some of my daughters stuff there to trade out for bigger clothes and they "lost" a good portion of the clothes, they only gave us $15 store credit. From what we have read online we are not the only ones to have this happen to them. We have also heard that the owner hires her employees young then doesn't train them properly or pay them very well at all. I would steer clear of this place and find a alternative source of affordable baby gear. We certainly will not return.

Read the fine print if you ever consign. I didn't, and they failed to give me a receipt (which apparently says it on the back), so I hadn't realized if you don't come in within 24 hours your stuff is forfeit. Probably wouldn't have worried about it of it hadn't been my daughter who was actually consigning. And, in fairness, I think there was a $2 store credit.

I used to love this store and have been going here for years. They had a large selection of clothes in good condition and gave fair prices for trade ins. Recently, they have really gone down hill. Brought a trade in, where they took almost all items, 40+ items. A lot that was new, still had tags or like new including Saltwaters, Merrell, Nike, Carters, etc. They told me it would be 3 hours for my trade in, it took 7 hours! When I went to pick up my stuff, they offered $44 about $1 an item, maybe less. I asked the associate about this as it seemed really peculiar. Past trades of this size/quality have been over $100. The associate seemed really out of it and said all the customers were saying this, but had no idea. The whole situation just gave me bad vibes and if I felt comfortable I would have asked for my stuff back. Not sure if they have changed ownership or if they are not managing things well, but something is going on and I will not be returning!
