Property manager Jonathan has been extremely helpful with solving a recent resident problem. He listened, acted and took care of the issue in a professional manner.

It’s been just a little over three weeks since we’ve moved into Huntington Park apartments. The grounds are beautiful with a park-like setting and the apartments are clean and safe. Although work is still being done to update the rest of the apartments with fresh paint, new floors & new appliances, the management team works closely with the maintenance team to ensure any concerns are handled in a timely manner.

I’d imagine the vast majority of the newer 5 star reviews being posted are by family/friends of management or are getting paid to post a good review. I lived there for a year, and every one of the 1 star reviews I read was completely true. Do your research, and save yourself from getting involved with them. Whatever you do, do not rent from this company.

I lived at Huntington Park for 6 years from November 2015 until November 2021. When I first moved in, it was owned by Romano Real Estate, locally owned in Tucson, and had a great management staff and a maintenance crew who was always on top of things. Rent was very affordable and it felt like a real community that I was proud to be a part of. This is why I kept renewing my lease every year. In December 2020, everything changed when the property was sold to Greenwater Investments, a real estate company located out of Miami, FL. The management staff who came in was unprofessional with the exception of Stephanie who was always kind and tried to make things right. They were nice enough to honor the remainder of our lease signed under previous management, but when it was time for renewal, rent skyrocketed by at least $300 a month including a heavy utility bill which was not worth the cost. Add all that to the noisy construction (including machines working at 6am which was illegal in Tucson) and the consistent shut down of water and electricity, and we see at least 90 percent of the residents under old management not renewing their lease and moving out, including myself. New neighbors came in which were more rude, noisy, and obnoxious than before, and management is sitting there doing nothing about it. When it came time to get my security deposit back at check out, I was told it would be forwarded to my new address within 30 days of move out. 60 days had passed and no security deposit showed up so I had to go in person to find out where it was, and it turned out it was sitting in the manager’s desk for at least 45 days with everyone else’s deposit who had moved out before. And while we’re on the subject, they had the nerve to deduct my deposit by 30% for some phony “cleaning fee” despite the fact it was getting completely gutted out at checkout for renovation. I’m glad to have gotten out when I did. If you’re looking for a new apartment to live in Tucson, I highly recommend staying AWAY from Huntington Park, at least while it’s run by Greenwater. You’ll thank me later.
