This place is dreadful. The hostess had upside down crucifixes eyeliners or maybe even worse tattoos on her face. Real cute, not. We entered regardless. The bar was the only area open to folks without reservations. We were slightly pressed for time to see a comedy show. Another patron walked up next to us and called out the bartender and asked annoyed "can we pay our bill we haven't been tended to since we got our food, we just want to pay and leave please". My wife was pretty displeased to hear that, and at my choice go there for food. We ordered our two drinks and left. We didn't even get to eat food until after the show. My wife was so mad at this place and me. It ruined the night. The establishment had a zero fs given atmosphere.

Service, food, host, and ambience were excellent. At all times waitress checked if we were in need of any additional service.

Oh boy, this place! Great service first of all. But the food! Wow! Not very many items on the menu and it’s ok because what is on the menu is perfection! Started with mussels and bacon wrapped dates and both were delicious. The sauce for the mussels had fresh sliced fennel and was delicious, we kept the sauce to dip our bread (waitress recommended that). For main course had the meatloaf which was elevated to a whole new level, scallops and shrimp and a side of pomme frites which were so good (any California people might be reminded of the ones at the Cafe Orleans at Disneyland-so good). We were too full for dessert. We are outside on the patio which has a really cool vibe, felt like I was in the LA art district. Owners if you read this PLEASE BRING THIS EXACT RESTAURANT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!

It was a nice experience waitress was Great. Chef's board was Delicious very good variety of flavors , Buffalo Cauliflower was my favorite not to spicy. My only problem was my bacon wraped dates they where over cooked and burnt but other then that everything was delicious. My date had a hamburger and said it was DELICIOUS.

All servers wear a mask. We had the whole patio to ourselves. Tables inside were spaced out.

You can map this for a better answer. You'll be able to find the time for walking, driving, biking, and running. If you're walking maybe 10-15mins depending on how fast you are. With mostly one ways driving can be about 5mins but add time to park.

Does this restaurant allow shorts at dinner?

They do not forbid it, but I completely diagree with the other post. It is a casual elegant atmosphere. Don't be the one in shorts and flip flops when others are trying to enjoy a romantic night out. Tucson, in general, needs to start trying a little more. At the very least do casual chic with trendy jeans and nice shirt. Leave the shorts for Eegees.
