Clean environment, super friendly staff(contrary to popular belief), I needed a replacement EBT card, I was in and out with it in less than 15 minutes! Just tell months ago the same office different staff were rude, slow, and send to truly hate their jobs. Drastic change, much appreciated by the way!

Called ahead, got information fast and was told to come down to pick things up. Verified my ID and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Social distancing and masks required. I liked this office because there are many resources you can take (infographics, posters, flyers, books, ect.) home for later. In English and Spanish.

Have to go there if you're at a point in life you need assistance and unfortunately I am. Thankfully the worker I saw was very nice and didn't make me feel any worse than I already did. In fact she made it better. The wait wasn't too bad at all, like 15 mins on a Friday. Only bummer was no face to face interviews had to wait until the following Wednesday for a call to set up phone interview. But apparently that was caused by the government shutdown. All in all good enough experience, still depressing that I needed to go there.

They are there Monday Wednesday Friday except the last week of the month
No, not walk in, well kinda. I needed my ebt card, called from the parking lot. I got my card in about 15 min. It was super quick
Call them and tell them just like any other entity he may have dealings with
Was it the right department? Did you get the right paperwork? Did you get a stamp with the date and time? Lots of different things could have happened I'd call or go in to ask them. Best luck

As far as I know, they will be open on New Year's Eve. If not, they will definitely be open on the second. I would suggest you call them, they are listed as Oregon State self-sufficiency office, in Hillsboro Oregon. They are on Elam Young Parkway. Good luck, and happy New Year! Cheers!
