Our wedding invitations turned out so unique and beautiful! Oblation made it easy to communicate and edit our requests. They were prompt and always available when we had questions. The final product is gorgeous and we are so happy we used a local business for our special day! Thank you (:

Bride approved!! I had such a seamless experience working with Oblation for my wedding invitations. They were thoughtful and responsive throughout every stage in the process. They truly go above & beyond and have great attention to detail. When I initially reached out to order samples, they personally contacted me to customize the samples based on my preferences. I really appreciated this and did not have that experience with any other vendor I looked into. Oblation makes it super easy to put together the content for the invitations. All I had to do was provide the event information on my side and they took care of writing all the language based on the invitation style I wanted. Throughout the whole experience they were very transparent about the pricing and they didn’t nickel & dime me along the way. Shipping was super quick and packaging was thoughtful. The invitations turned out even better than I’d hoped. I had a rocky experience with another vendor that I’d used for my save the dates, so working with Oblation on my invitations was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend working with them on any of your wedding stationary.

I was in Portland for a day to visit family and visited the store too. What an amazing nostalgic experience. I have been going to many stationery stores all my life (over 50 years) and have seen a lot of nice ones in the recent years, Oblation is very unique. With vintage Parker pen furniture from 1920s stretched across the store, to the assortment of ink brands and colors, one would get lost in one's childhood memories. My complements to Oblation owners for having such an amzing store and very knowledgeable staff.

I worked with Kathryn and Andi to design my custom wedding save the dates and wedding invitations. They were both so lovely to work with and the final product was simply beautiful. I was able to collaboratively design with them which was a joy. I couldn't recommend their store or their custom work/letter press any more.

Hi, do you carry glass dip pens? Can you smooth the nibs of them? Thx

I have purchased a glass dip pen from their store, though availability may have changed since The Uncertain Times began. The nib (so to speak, as they are one solid piece of glass from nib tip to handle end) would ostensibly be as smoothable as you might expect glass to be. The glass quality certainly isn't low. In addition to more elaborate, more expensive glass pens, they have carried a cheaper variety that would be ideal for experimenting with smoothing out the nib. It is one of these that I purchased and apart from the need to frequently dip, it performs no worse then any of my other pens. That's all I know. If you need it, expect more specific information from an employee. I hope you're able to find what you're wanting :)
