Sluys Poulsbo Bakery is my favorite bakery! We discovered this local destination on a recent family trip to Poulsbo and were blown away seeing the lines outside that lasted all day. It’s hard to choose what to order with so many options, but we selected 2 loaves of the famous Poulsbo Bread, a cinnamon twist, cardamom roll, cinnamon roll, tea cookies, lemon bars, raspberry cookies and bars. All were delicious! Everything is made from scratch and you can appreciate it in every bite. Breakfast toast made with the Poulsbo bread is a treat, we enjoyed the cinnamon pastries with coffee and the cookies as a sweet dessert. We’ll need to plan a day trip to visit this wonderful bakery again in the near future!

Never fails to be amazing, and at *amazing* prices. The below is about 10 minutes after we opened the box to all six people in our group. The extras are only because the sixth person was indisposed while we inhaled the treats.

Definitely the best baked goods I've had in a while. Was driving back to Seattle from Port Angeles and craving a coffee and something sweet. Googled bakeries near me and Sluys popped up top of the list. Knew Poulsbo must be Scandinavian somehow but didn't know until we drove into town how cute it all was. Pastries here were pure buttery goodness! Wish we lived closer (love in CO, so bit of a drive for breakfast). Highly recommend if driving through the area!! Parking is an issue, but we found a space near the waterfront and walked back there to the cool folding bench/picnic table combos.

I obviously ordered wrong cause the donuts tasted like Everywhere else, nothing exemplary here. The line was out the door so we waited a couple hours and came back and it still was. So this place must be the best! It’s a bit confusing when you get inside. A nice young man helped us get a dozen donuts. They were so busy there wasn’t much time for pleasantries. I will return and order different pastries next time.
