My dog requires prescription dog food to make sure he doesn't develop crystallization in his bladder. This vet canceled his annual, claiming they were too busy to be able to see him or take new patients but never notified us and his prescription lapsed so now I have to find a new vet to update his prescription after the fact. Truly unhelpful and I highly reccomend you go somewhere else but it doesn't matter because they don't accept new clients anyway. What a joke if you are currently with them go somewhere else before they screw you over too.

Dr. Watson is the most brilliant vet I've ever met. The office is beautiful and tranquil. Really feels like home.

It has been over a year since I went to Big Valley for my chocolate lab, Coco. Unfortunately, Coco passed away from cancer. I think Big Valley Vet walks on water. I did not know what was wrong with Coco & when I contacted them about my dog's problems they immediately came to his aid. They were extremely thorough & caring. Unfortunately, when they discovered what was wrong it was too late. I will be forever grateful for their services. Just wished they were located closer to Sequim, WA.

This place is the best Veterinary service in the wider area, better than both vets on bainbridge, far more thorough, far more aware of price and very holistic and non invasive in their care plans. Feel increasingly lucky to have Dr. Watson and Dr. Leska, and every single person on their team helping me as my dogs care becomes harder. Can't recommend highly enough.

They would be closed today.

Our dog Bark Lee was recently examined there and we are thinking he will need TPLO surgery on his left knee sooner than later. Can you recommend the best place to have this done and the process?

Dr. Watson used to work at an Emergency vet hospital, so she is good at doing surgery. I just don't care for people who are working there. Another place you can try is Winslow Animal Clinic in Bainbridge Island. There is a good vet clinic in Port Townsend, and the name is Pet Townsend. The owner graduated from excellent vet school. I used to live with vet students in the 80s in Davis, CA and good vet school will have them go through proper surgery skills. I remember my housemates complained about how much surgery they have to do in their 3rd year. I worked at the vet clinic in the early 90s, and I have seen some vets who had poorly skilled when it comes to surgery. Please check the vet's bio and choose well. Good vet schools are UC Davis, Cornell University, Colorado State University, University Florida, Texas A&M. Please google it. If you are looking for real holistic care for post surgery, I will go to Animal Healing Center in Redmond. I like Dr. Seigler. Good luck!
