I am so sorry you had that experience. That is not how anyone should be treated. Our rates are set by the King County Sheriff when we are called to impound a car. It looks like you called after hours so there would have been an additional charge to send someone into the office to release the car. The rate for that is set by the KCSO as well. All charges are taxable. You will also need to bring in proof of ownership as it doesn't look like the car is registered in your name.
Our office is open 8 to 5 Monday through Friday. We can schedule an after hours appointment but there is an additional charge.
