Upon checking in, the hotel seemed nice, but you could tell it was dated. Our room was good, the staff was friendly but the hotel is in desperate need of updating. The public restroom in the area was gross, the hot tub was cloudy and had hair floating in it, the restaurant was out of everything on the kids menu, except for the chicken tenders. We usually stay in Holiday Inn Express hotels, and thought we would "splurge" on the Crown Plaza. This was definitely not a splurge, and likely won't be back unless they undergo some renovations.

This hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean & comfortable. The only problem I had with the room was that they only had 2 sets of towels for a room that held 4 people. I really don't like calling for extra towels as soon as we get into the room for the first time. The food at the breakfast buffet was okay, but the bacon & corned beef hash didn't have much flavor. The corned beef hash needed a lot of salt & pepper. Also they didn't have enough service people in the restaurant. They should have had at least two more people on duty. People were waiting far too long to get things & the servers that were there had far too much to do.

The pool area is fabulous! Water temp in both the hot tub and the indoor pool was great! Beds were super comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Only problem we had was the geese fighting outside our window most of the night, lol! Would definitely stay here again.

Positive: I really loved how comfortable the beds were. I actually got a good night sleep. The pool was the perfect temperature and not cold like most pools are and the Hot tub was great as well. Negative: I didnt like the fact that this hotel had no exhaust fans in the bathroom,the shower curtain wasn't long enough for the tub and got water everywhere. Our sink had a Crack right down the side of it. We had no dresser for our clothes and no microwave.
