The Hawthorn by Wyndam has always served as my haven for solace. I lost my family in just a little over a year. My cries for help fell on deaf bureaucratic ears and I was ignored and stereotyped. I will NEVER know if their assistance could have prevented their deaths but I always know I'm welcome at Hawthorn Suites where I became adopted into their brand.

The room was dingy, the bedding was handed to me in a garbage bag. The shower looked like it had been used recently. The pull out sleeper was broken, all appliances looked like they were from the 1980's. The toilet seat was broken, fan controls for the bathroom was broken. If I hadn't prepaid for the room we would have left.

This place was disgusting. Dirty floors/carpet. 2 inch gap at bottom of outside door. Inside security lock broken. Sketchy location. Not what the photos indicated what this place was like. Ended up leaving an hour after initial checkin. Not a place for 2 middle age ladies or families for that matter.

Would give it zero stars if I could. We walked into the loft suite, turned around and left. Do NOT stay here. A boarded up hole where the fireplace was, couch, kitchen and carpet was SO dirty, we didn't venture into the bathroom or loft to see the conditions there. The smell of mold was overwhelming. We got to our cars and someone was looking in our car! We were in there for only 5 minutes! Can't imagine what would have happened if we stayed the night. Does not reflect well that Wyndham has their name on a place like this!
