Food was good. We had to find our Server to order and forourcheck. One meal came about 8 to 10 minutes after others had been served. Restaurant was not busy.

Let me be forward and say there is nothing wrong with this place. The staff was friendly, and the food was good but there is much better tasting Mexican food in San Diego. This places biggest problem is that they are in a city with a lot of stiff competition, especially when it comes to Mexican restaurants. If you put this restaurant in any other city in a state that does not share a boarder with Mexico and you probably have one of the better Mexican restaurants in town, but in San Diego there is just way better. But I really was not disappointed, I just feel their is much better options out there. I try to write either a one star or five star reviews as a thumbs up or thumbs down ideology, but there is no way I could give this restaurant a thumbs down.

Great service, the food was very good. Loved the beans and pickled carrots. The salsa was excellent.
