Wed - Lunch Excellent meal and really made my day because I had two horrible meals the day before in Astoria. Started with bowl of Chowder and it was creamy, hot and tasty. Deep fried prawn and fries were excellent. Batter was light and crisp and the fries were hot and plentiful. Waitress was very pleasant. Thank you

Ate there a couple times a few months back and then again yesterday (July) apparently there has been a change of ownership. The food and the restaurant are much better than previously. The restaurant is very clean now and the food actually tasted fresher and very good. I recommend trying it yourself. Good halibut and chowder, kids meals are great too.

The place is very small and may not look like much on the outside, but it is very good. The lady was very friendly on the phone and in person. There was a small seating area, but I ordered takeout to eat back at the hotel. I actually walked right up to her little kitchen, which was right next to the dining area, and watched her serve my clam chowder straight out of the pot and bag everything up for me. That might seem odd to some people, but I thought it was wonderful. Everything appeared very clean as far as I could see, and my food was good. The clam chowder was very good, it came with oyster crackers. The ranch dressing on my salad was some of the best I've ever tasted! I was so pleased with the great service and quality of food from such a tiny place, that I would definitely go back the next time I'm in the area.

A friend recommended this place to us (we're from out of town), so of course my husband and I had to try it! We both got specialty sands. I chose the Hot Pastrami, Bacon, Swiss and my husband got the Round House Rueben, and let me tell you.. they were absolutely delicious!! Freshly made and so packed with flavor. We each took a bite of the other's sandwich out of curiosity after our own tasted so good, and both thought the other's sandwich was delicious too! GREAT food, wouldn't change a thing. I would absolutely go again if I was back in the area sometime. 🤤👏🏻👌🏻
