First I would like to send our a HUGE appreciation and thanks to Monica McCall who I said some not so nice things to in a fit of anger. Through it all she maintained a very high level of professionalism and even brought me back in later that where she allowed me to apologize for my actions and she accepted it. I truly misinterpreted her intentions and totally felt bad afterwards. Since she has been here Monica has shown that she is active in patrolling the grounds, super great at posting communications and emailing tenants on anything going in the bldg. Some concerns I may have had she is usually on top of it. In my opinion her best trait is she is not afraid to make tough decisions after exhausting all possible remedies and I can't ask more than that. It was eye opening to see the kids in the bldg connected with her it almost brought tears to my eyes. No bldg is perfect but if 6wanted anybody here to take care of things Monica is the one. Please do not move here. It seems very nice based on apartment size and the amenities, but after moving in you’ll notice the issues other reviewers have mentioned. Whether it’s management’s fault or the negligence of other renters is irrelevant; the building IS filthy and smelly, in the stairwells and elevators in particular. Many residents are extremely loud, playing music at all hours of the day and night and shouting from their balconies, making it impossible to get work done, sleep peacefully, or relax. The air conditioning is frequently not working, and the building is very hot year-round. The amounts charged for utilities (nothing is individually metered) are outrageous. We moved out 4 months ago and are now dealing with an aggressive debt collections agency, trying to collect an amount that was paid back in July, immediately after we received the final amount due. It appears that this debt was sold to the collections agency prior to our security deposit even being credited, which is beyond ridiculous. The property manager and maintenance personnel are very nice, but I could go on and on about the problems with the building, and how happy we are to not live there anymore.

This apartment complex is EXTREMELY dirty. Not kept at all. Only has three visitors parking spaces and tows with severe prejudice. The front office is not only incompetent but also lazy and lacks any pride about themselves or their job. Out of necessity only would be the advisory for this apartment complex. Ifyou must stay, try to get a six month lease. Otherwise your stay will be more of a nightmare than a place of peace.

We love living at Kings Park Plaza! We are in our second year and could not be happier. The property manager Amy takes the residents' concerns seriously and is always trying to be helpful to make sure that the residents are happy. Our maintenance man Patrick is the best you could ever ask for. He is prompt, helpful, polite and very neat in his work. He is one of the main reasons we love living here. Patrick always has a kind word for everyone and a cheerful personality. Even when we had a ceiling leak at 4 in the morning, he showed up and was both kind and professional. He takes his time to genuinely get to know everyone and doesn't begrudge you his time even off the clock. But the best part about living at Kings Park Plaza are the residents. Everyone is friendly and looks out for one another. You do not often see that these days and they are the reason we have stayed as various difficulties were in the process of being fixed.
