We stayed at the Dossier because Travelportland.com recommended it (in a recently updated article from Oct 2021) as a place that was dog-friendly with no pet fees that even had special amenities for dogs (bed, bowls, treats, and a "spiritual menu" we were dubious of and intrigued at the same time). The only box it ticked was the first one. We weren't offered so much as a MilkBone for our pup, and when I saw the itemized receipt in my email, there was a $25 pet fee included in the bill. It's a nice place and we had no issues with the staff, but were disappointed from our expectations. We had thought we'd be getting something extra special or we'd have opted to pay half as much to stay at Holiday Inn or something. Maybe they need to talk to TravelPortland.com about getting their info straight if they don't want other guests to feel shorted.

Positive: The bed was very comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Also, they had almond milk with their morning coffee! Negative: The valet parking was terrible- we waited over an hour for our car once and over a half an hour another time despite having no called ahead.
